From their weaving studio in Edinburgh they hand craft their Signature collection of British alpaca accessories as well as offering Minta, their contemporary interiors line and the Heritage bespoke tweed and tartan service.The Role
The successful candidate will be a key member of their team with the vital role of working on the hand-weaving of the Signature range seeing through the full production process.
The responsibilities will be to:
– Hand-weave and finish the Signature products.
– Support the Head of Hand-weaving in other aspect of their role.
– Studio maintenance.
– Work as part of the team as it grows and develops the business.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should
– Be confident at weaving and setting up a loom.
– Have excellent attention to detail and quality.
– Be a good communicator and an enthusiastic team member who can also work autonomously within their own area of responsibility
– Well organised and able to manage their own work load.
– Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards supporting in other areas of the business
This position is part-time 2 or 3 days per week, these must fall on weekdays. Days can be flexible. It is a project-based role for the completion of an order, with potential for future employment.
