Yarns: Silk, wool, cotton, denim, mohair, linen, and many other mixes and novelty yarns. Weaving width 80cm (70-75cm with shrinkage, depending on the stretch of the weft yarns) Minimum warp length 2 meters. Maximum warp length per piece 8 meters (for example 40 meters would come in five 8 meter pieces), total quantity dependant on clients own time line and budget. |

Weaving width 110cms (repeat possible but not necessary) and can use structure to increase width eg. last project 140cms wide rug. Loom’s modular system equates to 24epc at 110cm wide, 36epc at 74cm wide or 72epc at 36cm wide. No minimum length. Most warp and weft yarns considered. |

John England offers the design and production of woven fabrics for end uses including fashion, interiors and theatrical linens.

They can weave up to 8 colours in weft although 4 is more standard.
They don’t have many standard warps although Setup 1 with Ne 36/2 combed undyed cotton and Setup 3 with Ne 40/2 combed cotton are in most of the time. All machines are set up to handle a wide range of counts from resultant Ne 1  to Ne 60. They are happy working with most yarn types and blends, and are trying to keep minimums to 100 metres. |
