Loom: They work with carefully selected mills around Scotland, which gives the ability to produce cloth/products in many different weights and quantities

Yarn: Wide range of options including Shetland wool, Cheviot, Geelong and cashmere.

Working closely with each client, Araminta creates a series of unique tweed or tartan designs, and manages the sourcing and production of their chosen design  in Scotland.

Each design is highly personalised and can incorporate inspiration from an event, landscape of piece of family history.

Looms are both Jacquard and plain and they can offer loom-state fabrics over 3 metres wide.A number of their Jacquard set-ups are single end control.Yarns:
Weave mainly with linen warps, and many blends of weft yarn. 
John England offers the design and production of woven fabrics for end uses including fashion, interiors and theatrical linens.

They are very flexible and like working with designers to produce new and original designs.

Minimums:
They can weave with other warp yarns subject to minimum orders.

They are happy working with most yarn types and blends, and are trying to keep minimums to 100 metres.

We can weave with almost anything from cotton to monofilament, but wool, alpaca and locally sourced yarns are our speciality.

Custom hand woven lengths and design consultancy, open to commissions and collaborations.

The Liverpool Weaving Company offers bespoke artisan cloth and tweeds in short runs, UK based outsourcing can be arranged for large quantities. Design consultation, sampling and development is also available.

Lead time 2-4 weeks for sampling and 3-5 weeks for production. As well as fashion and interior fabrics, LWC can also produce scarves, blankets and various other items upon request.
